My name is Heather Jo, and I want to help you in your journey towards your dream hair. Sometimes we don’t even know what that looks like, but we do know what we don’t like. An experienced colorist can help steer you towards multiple different options, as I truly believe there isn’t a “perfect” hair color or style for anyone! Hear me out…our hair is a living part of our look (I mean, its technically dead keratin but stick with me here), and living things grow and change and evolve. There may be a perfect hair for “right now” and then another perfect hair for another “right now” in the future. We can navigate those waters together to make sure your hair is expressing exactly how you want to be seen.
To me, the best part of what I do every day is making people happy. By the end of your visit, I will have done everything in my power to turn your day into a beautiful one. I specialize in real women and real hair, reinterpreting fashion to on trend hair that best suits each individual client. I tend to lean more towards natural looking hair color. Not to say that I don’t love my fierce reds or my beautiful pastels, but I think believability is the key. Believable hair color is luxurious hair color.

As the owner and hairdresser at Grey + Sage Color Studio, I am SO excited to start this new adventure in my career. I have 2 beautiful girls that I named this salon after, Grey (4) and Sage (1). Everything I do is for them.
After 17 years of experience as a Master Color Specialist, I decided to move into my own private studio in July of 2020. Having worked as an educator for Bumble & Bumble and L’Oreal Professionnel, Ive been lucky enough to travel the country sharing my extensive knowledge with other stylists in our industry. Working backstage creating looks for shows and events has also given me the ability to see trends and rework them into approachable hair for my clients.
Life is such an adventure and I want to help fill it with beautiful hair! Follow along with me as I build my brand in my own private studio, one lovely client at a time. I hope to meet you soon!
